Must be one of the best looking par 3's in the area !! A daunting tee shot for the first time over the Cringle Brook, requiring a well struck shot avoiding the pond to a reasonably large and receptive green. Over club and the out of bounds is behind the green !!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Back over the Cringle Brook and the road through the course. The marker post is the ideal line and a well struck shot will leave you with a short iron into the green. The second shot needs to be thought out as the ground drops away sharply over the green onto the 9th tee and beyond !! Don't over club !! Another green where it is crucial to know where the pin is placed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A good hole where you need to decide whether to Risk your tee shot (over the trees) to gain the Reward (of a short second) !! The bigger hitters often go over the trees but most prefer to lay up around the marker post at the corner of the dog-leg. Be careful not to run out of fairway ! Out of bounds all down the right hand side for your second shot that is difficult depending on where the flag is situated. A ridge runs down the middle of the green and if you hit the wrong half, two putting can be very difficult ! A good hole to finish the front nine.
