The Stoke Rochford Junior Section is an increasingly strong facility very well organised by James Footitt, and coached effectively by PGA Golf Professional Angus Dow who devotes many hours to this vital part of Club membership.
2011 Midlands Amateur Champion, and 2011 Club Champion
Nick Watson was brought up through the Junior Section, and is now a full adult member of the club.
The Section also has the 2012 Club Nett Champion
Rory Croft.
The club is always looking for new young members. Whether your child is looking to try out the game for the first time, or perhaps you’re just looking for a new challenge, Stoke Rochford's Junior Section is without doubt the perfect place to start within a friendly and professional environment.

COUPE CUP - RESULT

Saturday 8th September, the Coupe Cup was contested in warm summer conditions. The format for the competition is Junior/Adult pairs foursomes stableford. Winning with a fantastic score of 41 points was Matt and Richard Allan. Some way back in 2nd place, but still a very good score for foursomes were Edward & Gary Bell with a steady 36 points. 13 pairs contested for the Coupe Cup and it was all-in-all, an enjoyable day for everyone involved
THISTLE CUP – RESULT
Winners: Ed & Gary Bell – 38 points
Runners up: Matt Allan & Tom Greenfield – 36 points
On Saturday 20th October 2012, the Thistle Cup was contested. This is a Junior and Adult Greensome Stableford competition with 3/8ths combined handicap allowance. The weather conditions were kind as well with it being a dry, sunny day with not much wind present. There were some strong pairings on show this year , but as it panned out – it was all about the final game. This was Ed & Gary Bell, marking with Coupe cup winner Matt Allan & Tom Greenfield. It turned out this was the winners group as Ed & Gary Bell scored an impressive 38 points, whilst Matt & Tom managed 36 points – finishing 1st and 2nd respectively. The competition was again well supported, and long may this continue.
IMP TROPHY – RESULT

Runner up: Niall Doubleday
The summer junior singles knockout competition was brought to a climax in October as Winter League holder Harry Nicholls overcame the in – form Niall Doubleday in the final to win the singles double during his final year as a junior. This was interestingly achieved last year (2011) by Rory Croft, and is certainly no easy accolade. Harry defeated the Rawsons’ (Ben and Tom Rawson) in rounds 1 and 2 respectively, then came out on top in a Nicholls family affair – beating George in the semis, before seeing off Niall in a high quality final that swayed from 1 way to another. Niall defeated Edward Bell in the 2nd round after receiving a bye in round 1, then saw off junior captain Adam Footitt in the last four, before being beaten by Harry in the final.
