LADY CAPTAIN'S DAY (CAPTAINS WEEKEND) 22 & 23RD JULY 2017
Lady Captain Pauline & Club Captain Martin decided to do things a little differently this year and have a combined Captains weekend running an any combination betterball on the Saturday followed by a men's medal competition and ladies stableford on the sunday. The weather was generally kind to us untill almost the close of play on Sunday when the last people in had to deal with a downpour.The clubhouse was full on the Sunday evening for the prize presentations and a wonderful buffet for all to enjoy.
Lady Captain Pauline presented an overall prize, 1st & 2nd in 2 divisions(0-18 handicap & 19-36 handicap) - 2 nearest the pins and one hidden holes. The winners of the beautiful handbags that Lady Captain Pauline gave as prizes were the envy of all of the other competitors.

KEYMIN TROPHY SATURDAY 15th JULY 2017
The weather was fairly cool and overcast today for the ladies that contested the Keymin Trophy. The eventual winner was Sheila Dugmore with an excellent score of 87-19-68. Second place went to Mags McArthur with 94-22-72, third to Avis Griffin with 85-13-72. The best gross of the day went to Pam Watson with 77.
CORONATION FOURSOMES 10th MAY 2017
The club level competition of the LGU Coronation Foursomes was won this year by Sheila Dugmore & Elaine Kirby with 38 points. They will now go forward as club representatives in the next stage of this national competition. In 2nd place were Sue Bellingall & Marion Carvath with 35 points and 3rd were Chris Rowley & Dorne Werner with 34 points.

RAWSON RELIC SATURDAY 1st JULY 2017
A really popular competition for the Stoke Ladies as they all set out with their individual flags, none of them wanting to be the first to put it down in the course. This years winner Laura Harvey had 7 shots left after 18 holes and was delighted to accept the Rawson Relic trophy as well as a lovely gift from Judy Rawson the competition founder. in 2nd place was Sue Booth who had 1 shot remaining after 18 holes and Dorne Werner in 3rd who placed her flag in the 18th hole.
INNOCENT VASE SATURDAY 17th JUNE 2017
A lovely warm summers day saw the ladies playing their only par (bogey) competition on the fixture list. Lady Vice Captain Pam Watson came in with a fantastic score of +5 to easily take the trophy. In 2nd place was Mags McArthur with another good score of +1 and 3rd with a level score was Sheila Dugmore.
