LADIES News May 2009

 

Hi everyone - here we go, the long awaited update for the ladies web page - sincere apologies for this taking almost a year !!!!

 

The 2009 season is well underway with several competitions and matches already been played. A quick run down of major events already taken place :-

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well done to you all !!

 

 

Well done to the Mail on Sunday team who had very good results with some good sudden death wins in the first 2 rounds to reach the 3rd round, unfortunately did not manage to beat Sleaford away, but well done to all who played in the team and represented the Club.

 

Our first handicap league match against Belton Park - away - finished with a 3-1 win to ourselves, again well done to all who played, a good result.

 

Congratulations to the Lady Captain and her team on winning the Captain versus Vice Captain match recently - the Rabbit trophy was presented to Janet for the Vice Captains Team !!!

 

Ladies County Championships are being played next week at Seacroft - Skegness, all the best to all of our Ladies who have entered, we have the largest field that we have ever seen at a County Championship, in total 11 ladies will be travelling over for hopefully a very successful weeks golf - hey if not, I might just be lurking around a corner to catch the funnier bits on camera !!!!
