Poor weather conditions throughout the day contributed to relativeloy low scoring and a CSS of 71 for 54 players playing off the yellow tee boxes. HOWEVER, the good news is that the long range weather forecast from Saturday onwards is pretty much wall to wall sunshine for a couple of weeks with temperatures around 18 degrees most days!!!

A date for your diaries : A Texas Scramble for The Jubilee Quaich will be held on Sunday 29th April, teams of 4 (any combination) competing for this prestigious trophy, Ladies receiving two extra shots. Historically this competition hasn't been too well supported so the early warning is to allow you to get your teams of 4 in place as soon as possible. Book tee slots via BRS as usual and enter in the Pro Shop on the day, £16 per team with the winning team not only getting to hold the Jubilee Quaich Trophy but also winning £160 of vouchers. Depending on the number of teams entering the 2nd & 3rd place teams will also win vouchers worth substantially more than the entry fee.
