Saturday the 9th of July saw the 10th anniversary of the Chris Jones Memorial Trophy. The big man must have been smiling down on us all again with the blue skies and warmth (in fact it got quite hot and sticky as the day went on - then he would have been chuckling at us all !!)
113 members and 63 guests played throughout the day, starting at 6.45am and last ones out about 3.15pm, all enjoying the tremendous course laid out by Gareth and his team. Many thanks Gareth.
500 sausage rolls, plenty of lovely cakes and plenty of fluids awaited all at the halfway house. Well done all - 450 sausage rolls consumed, most of the cakes and not to mention the liquid refreshments.
Many thanks to all the ladies who made the gorgeous cakes for us all to enjoy.
Thanks also to Cris and Lis for their continued support towards this day and for all the staff who looked after us all so well throughout the day. The evening meal was as normal exceptional and enjoyed by all who partook of the same. Again thank you.

Barry, Will and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stoke Rochford Golf Club for their continued support for this event, which each year brings together so many people from the different walks of Chris's short but very full life. This is very much appreciated by everyone who attends and all our family.
The final total of what we have raised for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance is being finalised and will be announced shortly. I do know that £995 was raised through the auction alone so many thanks to those successful bidders.
Many thanks to all who donated raffle and auction prizes and for everyone's support in raising money for this great charity
We as a family hoped you all enjoyed the day as much as we did, catching up with old and new faces.
Rachel, Barry, and Will Jones
