Peter Bloodworth Famous Grouse Shotgun Foursomes Result
The 24 pairs that entered the Peter Bloodworth Famous Grouse Shotgun Foursomes on Sunday had an early start at 07:00 but the weather was beautiful other than the strong breeze. SRGC Chairman Adrian Stannard & regular partner Don Pennycook were the only pairing to come in under par with their nett 69. Immediately after the competition all players enjoyed an excellent Full English breakfast prepared by Cris & his staff. Thank you to our Greens staff for their efforts in ensuring the course was in its' regular excellent condition and also was prepared in good time for the early start.

MDJ Salver Results
A field of 96 in the MDJ Salver, a Mixed Stableford, saw one excellent score a full 4 points better than anyone else in the field. Brian Ayto, playing off 12, had 42 points starting with a rare birdie on the 1st for 4 points and that was followed by another birdie for 4 points on the 6th. The front nine of 22 points was a gross 37 and that was followed by 20 points on the back 9 for a gross score total of 76.

Best 3 from 4 Open Am-Am Stableford Results
After Saturday's heavy rain our course had freshened up and was in superb condition for the Best 3 from 4 Open Am-Am Stableford on Sunday, conditions were quite breezy for the earlier starters but calmed significantly for the later players resulting in some truly amazing scores. The Belton Park GC team of Brian Jaffrey (13), Simon Welsh (9), Michael Whitwham (14) & Mac Mackenzie (14) returned the best score on the day with 122 points. congratulations to them.

Ladies Club Championship Results
The Ladies Club Championship was played over the same weekend as the gents, with the ladies enjoying the excellent course presentation from Gareth and his team.
Winner of the 36 hole scratch competition was Lara Manton with a score of 170, beating runner up Pam Watson by 2 strokes.
Winner of the 36 hole nett was Dorne Werner with a nett total of 147, beating runner up Jane White by 1 stroke.
Saturday nett winner was Leven Li, and Sunday nett winner was Rachel Jones.
The Alternative Trophy was also played on the Sunday for ladies not able to play both rounds.
Winner was Debbie Tamblyn-Jones with 39 points.
Runner Up was Amanda Lewis with 30 points.
Gents Club Championships Results
A weekend of fine weather for all those playing in the Gents 36 Hole Medal Club Championships allowing some excellent scoring and very tight competition between the leaders.
Ian Braime led Simon Green by 5 shots after the 1st round in the hunt for the Scratch trophy but after starting 7-6 on Sunday compared to Simon's 4-4 they were suddenly level with 16 holes to go. Lesser players may have crumbled but Ian held his nerve to win by 8 shots ultimately.
In the scramble for the Nett trophy Liam Gales led by 3 from Max Braime after the 1st round with Matt Allan a further 4 shots behind, but the 2nd round saw a complete turnaround with all 3 players finishing on a total of 140. That meant Matt won on countback from Max with Liam claiming 3rd place.
