Weekend Stableford #4 Results
With just 9 players entering on Saturday due to the weather and the various team trials there was a much better turnout on Sunday for the final Winter Weekend Stableford, resulting in 56 players competing. Conditions were tough with the wind but the course once again dried out quickly to be eminently playable. I was at SRGC at lunchtime today collecting the cards for review and 8 visitors from a local club were there having just played, they were amazed at the conditions we experience throughout most of the winter period compared to their own club and asked me to pass on their thanks to our Greenkeeping Staff!! I'm sure all Members will second that.

This mini series has been very successful, 283 entries received so averaging almost 71 players per event. Perhaps next year we will try to find a small Order of Merit prize for the most successful player, maybe using the best 3 scores.
The Captain's Drive In is next Sunday, your new Captains Mr James Footitt & Mrs Mags McArthur will officially kick off the new season with ceremonial drives after the team event starting at 10:00 is completed, so please come along to support even if not participating.

February Medal Results
Fifty four players entered on a day with very changeable weather, wind, sun & rain making life difficult for everybody. The GOOD NEWS of course is that an awful lot of people enjoyed a round of golf when many nearby courses were closed or very severely restricted, thank you to Gareth and the Greens Staff for their superb efforts.

Tuesday Winter Open Rollup Round #4
Apologies for the delay in publishing the results, there were some handicapping issues that needed to be sorted out for a few visitors.
Tuesday's weather was fairly cold with a blustery wind from the South West making conditions dificult for all players, 67 players turned out proving the popularity of this series, and the course was in great condition considering the recent rain, wind and cold weather which has been making life very difficult for our Green staff, thanks Gents. CSS on the day was calculated at 34 points, so 6 players receive a reduction and also a few 0.1 increases, these should filter through to your clubs automatically in the next few hours.
