Open Competitions Entry

SRGC has decided that whilst Independent Golfers are very welcome to enter our Opens and their score will be recorded as expected, they, and any partner(s) if it's a team event will be ineligible to win a prize voucher at this time.

• Thursday Summer Series 2023
  • 5 x Pairs Betterball Stableford Rollups open to both Gents & Ladies
  • Vouchers per event & Order of Merit for pair with best 3 scores from 5 rounds
  • Tuesday 04/05, 22/06, 20/07, 17/08 & 31/08
• Monday 27^th March Ladies Fourball Betterball Stableford Max HI 36, 85% allowance, includes bacon roll & coffee on arrival
• Sunday 14^th May Gents Spring Open AM Medal Max HI 18, 95% allowance
• Sunday 14^th May Gents Spring Open PM Greensomes Max HI 18, 100% allowance
• Friday 19^th May Captains Charity/Club Day Best 2 from 4 Stableford Max HI 28 / 36, includes BBQ after playing, special holes, great prizes
• Saturday 17^th June Ladies Betterball 4-3-2 Stableford Max HI 36, 95% allowance, 4 scores on par 3s, 3 on par 4, 2 on par 5s, includes 2 course meal
• Sunday 18^th June Gents Open Am-Am 4-3-2 Stableford Max HI 20, 100% allowance, 4 scores on par 3s, 3 on par 4, 2 on par 5s
• Wednesday 12^th July Senior Pairs Betterball Stableford Max HI 28, 85% allowance. Coffee on arrival & refreshments at Halfway House. Two age groups, 110-138 years & > 138 years on day of competition
• Friday 21st July Centenary Pairs Summer Open Stableford Max HI 28/36, 85% allowance, pairs can be any combination of Gents and/or Ladies
• Sunday 13^th August Gents Summer Open 36 Hole Medal Max HI 18, 95% allowance
• Monday 28^th August Mixed Fourball Betterball Stableford Max HI 28/36, 85% allowance
• Tuesday 3^rd October Ladies Best 2 from 4 Am-Am Stableford Max HI 36, 85% allowance, includes 2 course meal
• Friday 1st Decxember Centenary Pairs XMAS Open Stableford Max HI 28/36, 85% allowance, pairs can be any combination of Gents and/or Ladies
• Tuesday Winter Series 2023/24
  • 5 x Individual Stableford Rollups open to both Gents & Ladies
  • Events will be QCs if course & weather conditions are OK (decision on day)
  • Vouchers per event & Order of Merit for best 4 from 5 rounds
  • Tuesday 07/11, 12/12, 23/01, 20/02 & 19/03
