Having joined Stoke Rochford Golf Club at the start of 2025, it has been a hugely enjoyable experience. The course is a great challenge for all golfers and remains playable all year round, even throughout typically poor winter British weather!

The off-course facilities, whether it be practice areas, the clubhouse or the half-way hut are all second to none and along with the friendly welcome of staff and members, make Stoke Rochford a great place to play golf.

I would highly recommend anyone considering joining Stoke Rochford to give it a go, you won’t regret it!

Debra, Glenn & Will Wright - "A great place for the whole family"

My wife, Debbie, and I joined Stoke Rochford Golf Club in 2022, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions we have ever made. I would not swap our membership at Stoke for any other club in the East Midlands.

From the moment that we joined Stoke, everyone has been so welcoming and friendly towards us both. As new members, we were made to feel like family. Simply adding your name to a tee time and joining “strangers” on any day of the week is a real bonus and a great way to meet new friends.

The club house is very friendly and relaxed, and all the staff are a pleasure to engage with. They simply cannot do enough for you. What is more, Stoke has a fantastic Halfway House that is admired by many visitors and guests, and the envy of other clubs. We find that there are plenty of well attended social events held at Stoke, compared to many other golf clubs.

The committee are forward facing, but do not lose sight in their rear mirror of standards and traditions. Each one of the committee members are approachable and willing to engage. Each member has a voice and know that they will be listened to.

I must also thank the Pro-Shop staff for helping me via lessons to reduce my handicap by a third. Prior to coming to Stoke, I had hit a plateau for several years and had settled for that.

Any new member will be signposted towards teams that may suit them, if they so desire, be they competitive or friendly matches.

The views are stunning, and whenever I play with a guest or an opponent, they always comment on how beautiful the views are. I am so proud that Stoke is my course.

The course plays superbly well in winter, compared to the vast majority of other courses. I cannot recall another course that can equal our boast regarding the condition it is maintained in during the winter months.

I love the 18 holes that are all so individual, but have a common thread of fast, true greens, which take some working out.

Golf at Stoke has gone up another notch for me recently, as our youngest son has also become a member. He is loving it, and he has been made to feel very welcome. He has been impressed by members reaching out to him, inviting him to join them for a round.
