Emergency Protocols

• Defibrillator locations : Clubhouse & Halfway House
• Most Staff are First Aid trained
• In the event of lightning in the area
  --- One long klaxon blast - play is suspended, mark ball and seek shelter or return to Clubhouse
  --- Two long klaxon blasts - play is resumed
  --- Three long klaxon blasts - play is cancelled, return to the Clubhouse immediately

Local Rules

1. Out of Bounds (Rule 18.2)
   • Beyond any wall, fence, hedge or line of white stakes defining the boundary edge of the course
   • The practise ground running parallel and to the right side of the 18th fairway is Out of Bounds
2. Abnormal Course Conditions (Rule 16.1)
   • All artificially surfaced roads & paths on the course
   • Relief MUST be taken if your ball comes to rest or is virtually certain to have come to rest within the area defined by green stakes on the bank opposite the 13th teeing ground
3. Immovable Obstructions close to Putting Green e.g. Sprinkler Heads, Drainage Covers
   • In addition to the types of interference described in Rule 16.1a, when a ball lies in the general area, interference also exists if an immovable obstruction is: on the player’s line of play AND is within two club-lengths of the putting green AND is within two club-lengths of the ball. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b. (Exception – There is no relief under this Local Rule if the player chooses a line of play that is clearly unreasonable.)
4. Young trees identified by stakes or cages are no play zones
   • If a player’s ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of intended swing or line of travel of your ball, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f.
   • If the ball lies in a penalty area, and interference to the player’s stance or area of intended swing exists from such a tree, the player must take relief with penalty under Rule 17.1e or with free relief under Rule 17.1e(2).
